Here are the main differences between a Project and a Task:
- A Project consists of multiple tasks.
- A task is usually part of a project, a project can never be part of a task.
- A project consists of multiple activities, a task consists of a single activity.
- A task is of a shorter duration and simpler goal(s) than a project, and is often executed by one person (vs many in a project)
